Juho Niemelä

Construction Architect, Oulu

After graduating as construction architect in spring 2020, I had already accumulated experience for two years in the design teams of local construction companies designing care homes, day care centres and schools. I joined the ranks of UKI Arkkitehdit in December 2020 and I hope I can develop into a more versatile designer.

As a designer, I like clarity, systematicity and practicality. My interest in optimising space utilisation and combining different spaces into practical entities aroused my interest in the field already at a younger age.

As a former team athlete, I try to keep in good shape in my free time with gym exercise, and I also get outdoor exercise daily with my dog. I also like listening and playing guitar-oriented music and watching spectator sports in moderate doses.
