After my 45-year career, I transferred with the staff of architectural firm Laatio to the service of UKI, as a voluntarily employed pensioner. Over the years, there have been many and varied employers, as well as projects that I’ve managed as the chief designer or participated as an architectural designer.

The finest new buildings in my career have been my own summer sauna made of logs and the garbage shed of an office building. In the course of time, the main emphasis has shifted to renovation, restauration and conversion projects in such cases as Hotel Kämp, Stockmann department store and the office building of the Ministry of Employment and the Economy.
