The staff of the Municipality of Ii received newly renovated, diverse, and modern workspaces at Ii Micropolis. The planning of the work environment was carried out using the participatory and interactive design methods of UKI Workflow. A key focus of the redesign was to genuinely and actively listen to the employees. These design methods helped create a unified understanding of objectives, work culture, and spatial needs.

The aim of the workplace transformation was to foster a more community-oriented work culture and to enhance employee comfort in the workspace. The goal was to create a functional work environment aligned with the municipality’s brand, where employees can work comfortably.

Various work zones were designed to facilitate team meetings, human interaction, different stages of work, and private workspaces for those requiring solitude. Special attention was given to supporting the diverse stages of work and offering a range of flexible working solutions.

As a result, the staff of the Municipality of Ii now has new, bright workspaces that reflect the story of Ii and encourage people to come together.
