Annukka Onnela

Before joining UKI Arkkitehdit in early 2026, I worked across a diverse range of design projects, including private residences, offices, hotels, and resorts, both in Finland and internationally. My work has focused on shaping the visual identity, atmosphere, and overall user experience of spaces.

My approach to design combines aesthetics, functionality, and carefully considered compositions. I have a particular passion for materiality and for combining different surfaces, textures, and tones in ways that create depth, character, and a timeless quality within a space.

I have worked extensively with high-quality Italian and French design, which has further strengthened my understanding of the importance of furniture, lighting, and material selections in creating both the atmosphere and functionality of an interior.

Travel is a great source of inspiration for my work. My partner and I often travel by car with our dogs throughout Norway, seeking out its breathtaking architecture and spectacular natural landscapes.
