I joined the UKI Arkkitehdit team in summer 2021 as the leader of the Jyväskylä office.

I strongly believe that the experience of a traditional firm and continuous and flexible development of team practices are the receipt for future success.

I bring along 20 years of experience from diverse design jobs, some of them renovations and the recent ones have been demanding new constructions. I have worked as site architect and project architect as the client’s trusted person.

I want to continue developing customer needs to architecture – seeking the best solutions for each project within the given framework.

I’m especially interested in coordinating constructions and technological systems, and data model -based design is the most functional tool for that.

I think we can talk about architecture only after the shape, space solutions, functionality, constructions, materials and engineering of the building have been harmonised to work together.

When I’m not working, I like to travel and spend time with my family sporting and building our own cottage.
