Outi Savijärvi

Construction architect, Helsinki

I work in the UKI hospital design team. I have a lot of experience in the hospital sector, because in my first career I was a radiographer in a university hospital. In my previous work, I participated in several premise renovation projects, where I was so inspired by hospital design that I decided to start construction architect studies. My strong points as a designer include understanding hospital premises and procedures as well as user-oriented design. I want to be involved in creating functional and convenient hospitals where both patients and staff can feel comfortable.

Music and motion are important sources of inspiration for me. My hobbies include playing carnival samba and fusion belly dance. I like to go to gigs, and I love good food.

The pleasant and warm work atmosphere and interesting tasks have made me feel comfortable at UKI.
