Housing cooperative Jyväskylän Paperitehtaankatu 24 is built by Skanska Talonrakennus for Avain Asunnot. The cooperative is located in Kangas in Jyväskylä. The building together with the other buildings in the block delimits a sheltered and comfortable oasis-like courtyard inside the block. The greenery of the courtyard will be complemented by the nature on the Tourujoki riverside.

The building has six floors, gable roof and light-coloured unplastered brick facade. To counterbalance the roughness of brick, the facade is punctuated by recessed glazed balconies and large windows placed on a darker brick background, bringing lots of natural light to the interior.

The building will have 46 apartments: six one-room, 19 two-room and 16 three-room apartments as well as five large four-room apartments in the southwest corner of the building. The bus stop in front of the entrance will have a work of art according to the percent for art principle of the Kangas area.

The Kangas area is the most important urban development project in Jyväskylä with a plan to accommodate 5,000 residents and 2,100 jobs by 2040. The aim is to make Kangas a diverse town district with special emphasis on pedestrian and cycling facilities.
