Inauguration of University Hospital E section in Tampere

The first building phase in the Tampere University Hospital 2020 Renovation Program E building has been completed. The architectural planning for the renovation program is delivered by joint venture UKI Arkkitehdit Oy and Tähti-Set Oy. The E building inauguration took place on November 18th, 2015 and the building will be deployed during the latter part of the year.

The E building in the middle of the hospital grounds will include the Infection Isolation Ward and Infection Policlinic as well as Kidney Centre with policlinic, dialysis care premises and kidney inpatient ward.

TAYS Renovation Program 2020 continues with the so-called front yard project, which consists of three new buildings and a parking hall as well as the new main entrance of the hospital. Construction in the front yard project has started.
