UKI Arkkitehdit wins the 2014 Ethics Award

The 2014 Ethics Award was presented in the event. University rector Lauri Lajunen acted as chairman of the jury. The Ethics Award can be presented to a company, community or private persons for a persistent and significant contribution to an ethical set of values inside or outside their community and for achieving concrete results.

The motive of the prize winner’s actions has not been mere short-term profit seeking. It must endure the critical scrutiny of the personnel, clients, partners and society, and the actions have also had a significant regional and national impact.

This year the Ethics Award was presented to UKI Arkkitehdit Oy to honour its long-term operation spanning over three generations. UKI Arkkitehdit is an international exporter of design expertise utilising local high-tech in self-made tools and methods.
