UKI Workflow – Work environment design
People are the heart of your work community and workspaces are its home.
We at UKI Arkkitehdit believe that people are the heart of your work community and workspaces are its home. The work environment is a physical place with room for work that requires concentration, room for collective conversation and room for encounters.
A functional work environment consists of premises where working is efficient and smooth. Premises that support different work phases are multifunctional, correctly proportioned and future-proof. Most of all, the work environment is a place where the organisational culture, values, company brand and common working practices come to life.
Do you know how many hours we spend at work in our lifetime?
On average, a Finn works 50,000 hours in a lifetime. So it’s not insignificant where, how and with whom you spend your workday. The way we work is changing now and the world around us is in a flux.
Companies are facing new challenges: How can you make employees choose working in the company premises and enjoy it? How can you ensure that the workplace has optimal circumstances for performing different tasks? How can you attract new competence to the company? Look around you and you see the answer.
How do we develop workplaces together?
We at UKI Arkkitehdit make space for work. Together with the end users, we design workspaces that reflect the look, size and feel of your company.
Our participatory and well-timed approach guarantees that the selected user group is actively involved in shaping the premises from start to finish. When users are heard during the work environment design process, the result matches the work procedures of your work community.
To support the involvement, we demonstrate the design in a 3D virtual space. This helps understanding the functionality of the workplace and comparing the alternatives.
Why invest in workspaces?
- Efficiency increases
When workspaces are designed to meet the specific needs of your company, excess square metres can be minimised, different work phases are supported, cooperation is smooth and efficiency increases. - Work satisfaction improves
Inspiring, light, multifunctional and ergonomic premises ensure that it’s fun to come to the workplace in the morning and the whole work community feels better. - Workplace life cycle and adaptability
- When professionals design workplaces to meet your needs, they are adaptable to different purposes and changing requirements and also stand the test of time.
- Recruiting becomes easier
Planning to attract new talents to the company? Comfortable workspaces make working easier and impact your employee image positively. - Communality increases
When premises are in order, you want to come to the workplace. Involving employees in designing the workspaces produces a functional result that reflects the character your employees. - Brand grows stronger
Premises are a business card of your company also towards customers. Make sure that your brand is consistent also on the spot.
With UKI Workflow work environment design, we help companies create space for work. Whether it’s a new or existing space, we implement the design process from start to finish with participatory methods.
We want to focus on essential solutions to bring stylish and homely feeling to the work environment. Designers at UKI understood our wishes really well. Old functional things were preserved, and the premises were complemented with necessary changes to improve usability.
